This is the third part of a trilogy. Because I didn't watch the other two, they may be more engrossing, but I I found this DVD an OK rendition of what life on the lam may be like and how it could affect a relationship.

Amazing thriller spy trilogy saga ( page 8, Turquis & Caois , Salting Battlefield ). Great performance and acting of Bill Nighy . Definitively a movie to see. Highly recommended.

Johnny Worricker and Margot Tyrrell are back together. (Bonham Carter was pretty much missing from season two.) On the run, and slipping away from their not-so-safe houses moments before capture, they dash across Europe until they run out of cash. It is hard to decide who is friend and who is foe--and it is hard to decide who is working for the good of Great Briton and who is just seeking power or money. Watch these in proper order or you'll be lost.

Sad to see it come to an end. Didn't think it as good as the first two, perhaps because it was the last one :(. Still brilliantly acted of course and the plot was gripping and naturally hard to follow - I loved that about them!

Nice wrap up on the Johnny Worricker saga. One may not like the cloak and dagger and political cliche, but all for the best at the end.

Third of the Worriker series, the first two being "Page Eight" and "Turks and Caicos". I've really enjoyed them all.

Johnny was fighting with the prime minister whose end game was to get rich after his term. In real life, Tony Blair was accused of doing the exact thing ... a bit of like the Clinton family who live like royalty as the owners of the Clinton Foundation. You can search for the news articles on Blair's exploits:

Belinda: And who are you?
Johnny: I'm the man who telephoned.
Johnny: Well, the last 10 years have been kind of bumpy. It used to be very clear who the enemy was. And so also it was clear what the job was.
Belinda: And then?
Johnny: Then we got caught out. Trouble came from an unexpected direction. Or rather it started coming from every direction. Suddenly we were told we were meant to be fighting a worldwide movement ... Let's just say we got a bit careless about distinguishing between people who would like to do terrible things and people who were actually doing them. We became indiscriminate about the methods we used. It was dog eat dog. Only problem is, we're not dogs.
