If you are at all curios about the history of tattoos from the standpoint of American tattooed women - Then - This well-researched book of non-fiction should prove to be of some special interest to you.

Covering the years from the late-19th century through to the mid-20th century - "The Tattooed Lady" (which was written by Amelia Osterud) not only comes across as being quite an engaging read - But, it also includes an impressive selection of vintage, b&w photographs, as well.
