This film is an edited version incorporating later video and audio of the broadcast of the Apollo 11 landing. It was interesting to see what others who were alive then saw. The host, Burke (later known for his Connections series), shows and explains all sorts of interesting things: the EVA suit, the command module, and even the emergency slide and room in case of a launch failure. The film ends rather abruptly, only about five minutes from the end do they launch the lunar module up the orbiting command module, and its not shown or mentioned that the EVA backpacks were left there on the moon, and that the lunar module itself was later disconnected from the command module to orbit and crash into the moon.
