Fascinating. So much life on our planet. Will never look at what seems like a simple beach the same way again. The daily struggles for survival and food of the largest and tiniest.

Blue Planet is such a wonderful series! Very educational and incredible footage that I often found myself wondering what they had to go through to get such up close and personal shots while making it appear that the sea life had no idea they were there. One of the episodes I watched has a short documentary at the end, showing the filming of one of the segments. Fascinating time lapse photography and stunning scenery makes Blue Planet a series that I'd like to have for my own personal collection! David Attenborough has such a soothing voice that you feel like you are floating under the sea right along with the subjects of the documentary!

Just see it and be amazed at the riches we have been given that we continue to squander. Beautiful, haunting, excellent.

Search for B000ASALVK at amazon UK. $16 (including shipping) buys you the two 50-minute episodes included in this item, plus 6 others.

I gave up waiting for this item, because there's only one copy.

The narrator is David Attenborough, not Richard Attenborough.

Like all the Blue Planet DVDs, this one is filmed beautifully and narrated well. An enthusiastic recommendation for all ages and interests.
